Are Sulphate and Sulpha duplicate entry?

I have an allergy to Sulpha (head to toe hives) but only put some Polysporin on my face and my orifice have gone numb. There is sulphate contained by the Polysporin. Are Sulphate and Sulpha duplicate entry?
No. There should be no cross-reaction between the sulfate salt of polymyxin B and sulfanilamide antibiotics, which are a completely different entity. It's unfortunate that shortening "sulfanilamide" to "sulfa" cause so much consternation, but we don't like to be bothered beside long names.
Sulphate is simply sulfur next to lots of oxygen, so I'd try to wash the Polysporin sour as quickly as possible and do doesn`t matter what else you need to do
